• FOUNDER OF LAPS PASSES AWAY - It is a very sad day at LAPS today. Richard Lewis founder of the Lycoming Animal Protection Society has passed away. All our kitties are very sad at his passing. But yet they reminded us that without his efforts, many, many cats would have never known what it is like to live in a home and be loved. Thank You Richard for all the lives you have saved over the years. You have paved the way, for many happy homes and many loved and cared for kitties and provided an organization to give them safe haven until/or if they find their furrever home. God surely has a spot for you in heaven at the Rainbow Bridge where you will be greeted by many kitties you have helped along the way. May we all say a prayer for his family and for the continued efforts of LAPS.  Richard's obituary can be seen at:
