Flamingo Flocking fundraiser - now. The flamingos are part of an ongoing fundraiser to benefit LAPS where unsuspecting participants are surprised with a yard full of pink flamingos sent by a friend in support of LAPS.
This good-natured, “practical-joke” kind of campaign not only compels laughter, but raises much needed funds in the process. For a small fee, the flock is secretly delivered to the participant’s yard under the cover of darkness.
The next morning, the unknowing participant wakes to find forty (40) hot pink plastic birds adorning their lawn – they’ve been flocked! A donation is requested to remove the birds, and insurance to prevent re-flocking is available for a small cost.
Please consider making a donation to help the LAPS cats send the flock south and watch for their return in the spring. Anyone who wants to flock a friend can email info@lapsshelter.com. Remember…Once you see the flamingos in your neighborhood, watch out, your yard could be next!

- Beiter's Home Center 7th ANNUAL CHARITY DRIVE & SALE - September 14th to September 19th, 2011. 5% sales designated for LAPS were contributed by Beiter's Home Center to LAPS.
- Hoss's Community Night - Saturday, July 30, 2011. A night out at Hoss's of Williamsport to help raise funds for the LAPS shelter with Hoss's donating 20% of the night's proceeds from customers presenting a special LAPS letter.
